Amritsar is one of my favourite place, because it is in punjab where i born and also because Amritsar is home to the Harmandir Sahib (commonly known as the Golden Temple), the spiritual and cultural centre for the Sikh religion. Amritsar is one of the largest cities of the Punjab state in India.
There are many historical places such as jallianwala bagh, one of the most popular gurudwara golden temple and many spritual places like Durgiana Temple, Khadur Sahib, Ram Tirath and many more.
Amritsar observes a semiarid climate, Winter begins in November and continues till the end of March.he summer season in Amritsar begins in April and lasts till June. Moderate rainfall is observed during the monsoon months of July, August and September.
Punjabi food has been the flavour of India for a while, so much so that when someone talks about North Indian food, they actually refer to Punjabi food. Amritsar as the food capital of Punjab is the unarguably the apex of all this fantastic food.
